B&B near the Port Of Naples

The B&B Santa Brigida Guesthouse is located in a strategic and very close position (just 800 metres) relative to the maritime routes offered by the Port of Naples. Today, it is one of the most important ports in Europe and its history dates back to the period of the Greek colonies.

It has 14 docks, but the main two are the Molo Beverello and the Molo Angioino.

The first is a dock for hydrofoils and ferries that link the mainland to the main islands in the Gulf of Naples: Ischia, Procida, Capri, Ponza and Ventotene. The Molo Angioino is, instead, a dock for cruise ships.

The Molo Beverello is connected to every part of Naples by public transport. It is also a very important tourist port, thanks to its closeness to the town centre, which can easily be reached on foot, allowing you to visit all the beautiful historical and artistic places of interest, like the Teatro San Carlo opera house or the Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale), which you can see from the delightful, elegant, Baroque style rooms at the B&B Santa Brigida Guesthouse.

Staying in one of Santa Brigida's rooms with a French balcony not only gives you a spectacular view of the street that gives it its name, but it also allows you to visit the town centre easily, on foot, because it is very close to Via Toledo and to the most famous districts in Naples.  You will be able to go for long walks from the Molo Beverello to the Spanish Districts and do some shopping or visit one of the numerous monuments in Naples.

During your stay at the B&B Santa Brigida Guesthouse, we advise you to take advantage of its closeness to the Port of Naples and visit the beautiful islands in the Gulf. The routes going to the islands from the Molo Beverello are covered by speed boats extremely frequently and are easy to book. The staff at the B&B Santa Brigida will be more than happy to give you advice on the best itinerary, based on your requirements, perhaps starting with Procida, the smallest island of this archipelago in the Campania region, with the famous Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo on the promontory of Terra Murata. In just under half an hour, you can get from Procida to Ischia, the largest island, where the Aragonese Castle and the Cathedral of the Assunta are worth mentioning. To conclude your tour of the Gulf of Naples, you really must visit Capri, the land of poets, writers and legendary characters and a highly sought-after destination during the summer season. Once there, don't forget to pass by the spectacular Gardens of Augustus, the beautiful Blue Grotto of Anacapri and the spectacular faraglioni sea stacks in the sea off the island.
